THE RED VIRGIN MARY

Pietro is a self-thought artist, translating life experiences and perception to new languages; applying knowledge from existential questioning, classical music training and Commedia dell’ arte practices from a very young age.

A supplicant from the roman catholic church walks in front of the Red Virgin’s statue, praying for miracles to grant his requests.
During the prayers, the devotee manages to obtain several divine interventions from the Virgin to the point that he will decide to confess the sins committed. Confessions will trigger a series of penance rituals; actions that will lead to the confluence between the sacred and the profane.
