DELIQUIUM
SOUND ART TRIENNIAL
8th, 9th, 10th February 2018 – Electrowerkz, London
VOMIR (FR) ➣ Harsh Noise Wall
Paris-based Romain Perrot is a self-taught noise musician active since 1996. Deeply involved in the experimental and improvised scene in Paris, he has played solo and in many formations and collaborations. Since 2005/2006, he has specialised in creating monolithic and continuous noise based on analogue noise generators. As VOMIR he has become known as a defining artist of the Harsh Noise Wall genre. He also continues to release guitar-driven noise music, (as Roro Perrot or Falot) as well as romantic funeral organ synth music (as Trou Aux Rats). Besides music, he is known for his work in film and photography (as Free As Dead).

These are artists who want to push you as a listener, viewer, toucher, taster. They feel the competing powers that define human and inhuman experience and press this open the audience. This is work that requires the presence of the artist and the engagement – sometimes submission – of the public. Your senses will thank you for the embrace that is DELIQUIUM.
